Protecting Your Loved Ones
Selecting a beneficiary for your Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance helps ensure your benefit goes to the people or organizations you choose. Taking a few minutes to name your beneficiaries, and keeping your choices up to date, can provide peace of mind and help protect the people who matter most. Log in to Manulife to select or update your beneficiaries.
Québec residents: If you name your married or civil-union spouse as your beneficiary, the designation may be irrevocable unless you specifically indicate that it is revocable. An irrevocable beneficiary must generally consent before you can change the designation.
Claiming Your Benefit
In the event of your passing, your designated beneficiary will need to submit a claim to receive the Life Insurance or AD&D benefit. Your Corporate Benefits Team will assist in guiding your beneficiary through the claims process. Claims should be submitted as soon as possible.
If you are covered by a collective bargaining agreement, check your union contract, as eligibility and benefits might be different for each program.
