Bereavement Leave
If you work a minimum of 30 hours per week, you are eligible for paid bereavement leave. This benefit provides you with three days of paid time off for the death of your spouse, child, stepchild, stepparent, parent, parent-in-law, sibling, grandparent or grandchild.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) has resources for support managing the grieving process.
Spouse and Child Life Insurance
Losing a spouse or child is one of life’s most challenging experiences, and we understand that attending to practical matters during this time can feel overwhelming. Our team is here with compassion and care to support you through the process of filing this life insurance claim.
If you elected spouse or child life insurance coverage, contact the Benefits Service Center at 888.850.1767 to begin a life insurance claim.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
Contributing to an HSA? Update your beneficiary and consider increasing your HSA contributions to cover your spouse’s eligible health care costs.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
If you experience a qualifying life event, you may be able to enroll in an FSA or increase your contributions to meet your needs. You can also submit your new spouse’s and eligible family members’ expenses for reimbursement.
