What You Need To Know
If you leave Republic Services, your benefits, including medical, dental and vision, will end at midnight on your last day of employment.
You will have the option to continue your benefits in accordance with the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), in most cases for up to 18 months.
You will receive a COBRA packet from the Benefits Service Center within 7 to 10 business days after you’ve notified the company that you’re leaving. This packet will provide information on timing of COBRA enrollment, premiums, how to make a payment, etc.
